Chef Vinson Petrillo brings a celebrated culinary pedigree, a passion for exceptional ingredients, and a genuine love of hospitality to our Expertly Done Culinary & Wine Travel experiences. Executive Chef and Creative Culinary Director with Charleston’s acclaimed Easton Porter Group, Vinson has shaped the culinary identity of The Restaurant at Zero George for more than a decade and leads the group’s celebrated coastal Italian restaurant, Costa. A graduate of Johnson & Wales University, he honed his craft in New York at acclaimed restaurants including Caviar Russe, Abe & Arthur’s, and Prospect, before bringing his highly refined yet ingredient-driven style to Charleston. His accolades include winning the regional S.Pellegrino Young Chef competition and competing internationally at Expo Milano, as well as serving as a Krug Ambassadeur. Rooted in his Italian heritage and inspired by the connection between food, place, and people, Vinson brings the same curiosity and enthusiasm to travel that he brings to the kitchen—inviting guests to discover the flavors, traditions, and stories that make each destination memorable.
