Our hand-selected camp is steeped in a rich history and represents the pinnacle of luxury photographic safaris. Spanning an expansive 33,000 acres, it ranks among South Africa’s largest private Big Five reserves. Located strategically between the Kruger National Park and the Sabi Sand Reserve, the camp shares an unfenced 12-mile border with the renowned Kruger National Park. This unique positioning allows for a remarkable wildlife experience, with abundant opportunities for observing Africa’s most iconic species in their natural habitat.

Day 8

Days at the Game Reserve will be full of once-in-a-lifetime experiences, including:

Game drives / safaris

Game drives are conducted twice a day (early morning, and late afternoon/ evening) in open 4-wheel drive safari vehicles. The rangers are in constant radio communication with one another to keep each other informed about the location of wildlife. Headsets are used for this purpose so as not to interrupt the sounds of the African bush. The 4-wheel drive safari vehicles enable the rangers to leave the road and provide guests with close up game viewing and fantastic photographic opportunities. Night drives, with the aid of powerful spotlights, bring the bush to life at night.

Bush Walks

Visitors may head out on foot with their armed ranger. The perspective of the bush is entirely different to that of a vehicle, and guests will learn to read the signs of the wild, and perhaps come into close contact with the different animal species on the reserve.

When you are not out of a game driver or bush walk, relax and enjoy the camp’s amazing amenities, including the gym, swimming pool, and evening blazing fires in the reed-enclosed boma (African structure) under the glorious night sky. Partake in the all-inclusive brunch, high tea and dinner, which are served on the deck overlooking the Sand River or in the air-conditioned dining room. Spa treatments are also available (optional, not included).

Day 9

Highlights of Zimbabwe

Day 10

Zimbabwe is calling today. Depart with our private driver to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport for your flight to Victoria Falls International Airport. Upon arrival, our private driver will escort you to your 5* luxury lodge in Zimbabwe, which offers another distinct safari experience and idyllic location from which to visit the largest waterfall on planet Earth.

Day 11

Make the most of your day today from a selection of incredible experiences:

Game Drives, Safaris

Your Private Game Reserve offers the most exclusive game viewing experience in the Victoria Falls area. Here, surrounded by flourishing wilderness, phenomenal highlights include sightings such as massive herds of elephant and buffalo as well as the rare and majestic sable antelope. The reserve is also home to lion, spotted hyena, African wild dog and leopard.

Twice-daily game drives in the privacy of the concession are conducted in custom-fitted, luxury open-air safari vehicles in the early morning and late afternoon, accompanied by a knowledgeable, conservation-minded ranger and a tracker.

Game drives are a seminal safari moment in the bush. Whether you’re heading out at dawn or sunset, prepare to recalibrate your senses to the sounds, sights and spectacles of the bush. It may be that you get up close and personal to a pride of lion as they devour the remnants of their night’s kill or watch in awe as an early morning posse of elephant make their way down to the nearest watering hole amidst a chorus birdsong, grunts and scuffling dust. Chances are you’ll come with us as we track one of the Game Reserve’s established packs of wild dogs and experience their high-pitched keening as they hit the scent of prey.

Exclusive Zambezi River Boat Cruises

Enjoy the opportunity to experience an exclusive riverboat cruise and canoeing excursion along the private 15 km stretch of the Zambezi River.

Take in the marvels of this spectacular wilderness sanctuary complete with resident hippos, crocodiles and nearly 700 species of fish, not to mention many species of water birds. This is your chance to make the most of some excellent photographic opportunities too, from the vantage point of the water where you will see large herds of elephant, buck, wildebeest (gnu) and buffalo come down to drink.

Interpretative Bush Walks

An interpretive bush walk, led by a professional ranger, is an absolute must for those looking to get even closer to the incredible wilderness of the reserve. This adventure-filled activity allows guests to learn more about the intricacies of the African bush, with the thrilling opportunity to get up-close-and-personal to its inhabitants, from small to large. A walking safari is truly a feast for the senses!

Tour of the Falls

Guests will have the opportunity to discover the many facets of the magnificent Victoria Falls, the biggest falling curtain of water in the world on this exceptional excursion. You can explore the surrounding rain forest in the company of a guide who is intimately acquainted with the history of the Falls, as well as its flora, fauna, bird and wildlife.

Whatever your preference, be it on foot, game vehicle, boat or helicopter (not included), you will be amazed and rewarded by the abundance and diversity of this wilderness frontier.

Day 12

Your spectacular Southern Africa adventure comes to an end today. Depart with our private driver to the Victoria Falls International Airport for your flight to Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International Airport. Our VIP airside assistance will be provided in Johannesburg to help you continue on to the United States.
