Visit some of the most exciting markets in southern Spain and gather ingredients with her. Sip sherry wines at our hand-selected bodega, accompanied by hand-prepared tapas. Taste one of the richest, acclaimed Ibérico hams. Enjoy an educational olive oil tasting on an organic farm in Ronda where a community of nuns have been crafting the liquid goodness for over 200 years. Learn about the beloved fighting bulls at an UNESCO reserve. Itinerary

Highlights of Seville

Day 1

Arrive at Aeropuerto de Sevilla (or the train station) and meet a Premier Tours & Travel representative to escort to your carefully curated accommodations. Enjoy drinks and Welcome Dinner this evening.

Day 2

A panoramic horse-drawn carriage ride provides perspective on the beautiful city of Seville today. Following, take a guided, cultural walking tour of Seville and see the unique architecture of the Barrio Santa Cruz, the marvelous Giralda Bell Tower, the stunning Seville Cathedral. Enjoy a guided visit to the Royal Alcazar and Gardens (included). Meander with the group to one of the most active local food markets in the city, Mercado Triana, to select ingredients for chef’s dinners and for a guided tour and tasting lunch. Return to your accommodations for a Chef’s dinner.

Day 3

Embark on a day tour to Jerez de la Frontera to experience the beauty and grace of the Royal Andalusian horses before visiting our hand-selected bodega to learn about and taste the iconic sherry wines and Vermouth of Jerez de la Frontera with tapas. A stop at the Mercado de Abastos is a must for the freshest local ingredients. Return to your accommodations for a Chef’s dinner.

Day 4

Today, a bespoke culinary experience awaits you in Jabugo, the Jamón Iberico capital of Spain. Discover one of the finest producers of Jamón Iberico, located inside the Natural Park of the Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche in Andalusia, with 100-year-old curing cellars. Learn the unique ecosystem of the Ibérian hog and the artisan process that goes into creating their indulgent, 100% acorn-fed Jamón Ibérico. Enjoy a private visit to the curing cellars in Jabugo and a VIP Jamón carving and tasting masterclass followed by an outdoor parrilla luncheon in collaboration with our friends and owners at a very quaint finca overlooking the picturesque valley and mountains in the distance. The exquisite food coupled with the beautiful views of the countryside make for an unforgettable experience. Return for an evening at leisure in Seville.

Highlights of Zahara de la Sierra, Ronda & Marbella

Day 5

Set off to Ronda today by way of Zahara de la Sierra — named one of the most beautiful hilltop villages by Los Pueblos Mas Bonitos de Espana with its streets of stepped Pueblos Blancos (white houses) built on the mountain slope below its castle — for a tour. Spend time at leisure in this charming village for lunch and shopping before continuing on to your accommodations in Ronda. A paella demonstration awaits you this evening for dinner.

Day 6

Visit an organic olive farm in Ronda where a religious community of nuns began producing the product over 200 years ago. Spend the day picking your own organic vegetables and learning about the science and art behind the production of olive oil before sitting down to an educational tasting masterclass. Enjoy an olive oil tasting and lunch overlooking the olive groves and valley, including the vegetables you selected. Enjoy time at leisure at your accommodations this afternoon.

This evening, experience a traditional dinner and Flamenco show at a favorite Tablao in Ronda.

Day 7

Experience Andalusia among the rich and famous with a guided visit to Puerto Banús and Marbella. Puerto Banús is a marina, filled with luxury yachts, and surrounded by upmarket boutiques and bars. On Saturdays, experience the local market and a social event for locals. See Costa del Sol color up close and stroll myriad stalls selling handmade arts and crafts, clothes, fresh fruit and vegetables, accessories and antiques. Following visit Marbella, a city and resort area on southern Spain’s Costa del Sol. The Sierra Blanca Mountains are the backdrop to sandy Mediterranean beaches, villas, hotels, and golf courses. Meander the old town before enjoying time at leisure for lunch and shopping. Return to your accommodations for Chef’s dinner

Day 8

Enjoy a guided visit of Ronda today experiencing their weekly Sunday market (as applicable) and exploring the ancient architecture of the Old Town and gazing over one of Spain’s oldest bull rings. Gain an in-depth understanding of the fighting bulls with a visit to Reservatauro, a cattle ranch in an area declared by UNESCO as a Biosphere Reserve, created by the bullfighter Rafael Tejada. There learn about the life of these fantastic animals in all phases of their breeding and the exciting selection process, as well as being able to interact with them. Following, enjoy a tasting of local wine and tapas. 

Return to your accommodations for a Farewell dinner this evening.

Day 9

Depart from Ronda to the United States today.
