Highlights of Johannesburg & Ngala Safari Lodge
Depart on an overnight flight from the United States to Johannesburg, South Africa.

Day 1:
Upon arrival at OR Tambo International Airport off your International flights, you will be met by a Menzies Aviation representative and assisted through customs and immigration. You will then be assisted into the arrivals hall and directed to the Inter Continental OR Tambo International Airport Hotel (located on the airport grounds). Spend your 1 night stay at Intercontinental OR Tambo International Airport Hotel in Deluxe Rooms with en-suite bathroom. Your stay includes breakfast and a 3 Course dinner (excluding all drinks).

Day 2:
Breakfast at the hotel.

At approximately 09:30 AM you will be met at the Hotel Lobby for your private transfer by to the Federal Air Lounge, in time for your Private Charter flight onboard a Cessna Grand Caravan to our accommodations (approx. 1 hour and 25-minute flight), Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by a member from our andBeyond team and transfer by open safari vehicle to the lodge (approx. 12-minute drive). Lunch on arrival. Check-in at 2PM. High tea in the main area. Afternoon game drive. Dinner at the Lodge.

Thrill in the excitement of safari during your 4-night stay in Cottages with en-suite bathroom and intimate veranda. Your stay includes three meals daily, soft drinks, house wines, local brand spirits and beers, teas and coffees, scheduled safari activities, refreshments on game drives, a 1-hour nature walk, emergency medical evacuation insurance and laundry.

Early Morning Wakeup call. Tea and biscuits in the main area. Morning game drive. Breakfast at the Lodge. Time at leisure. Lunch at the Lodge. Time at leisure. High tea in the main area. Afternoon game drive. Dinner at the Lodge. Overnight at Lodge.

Early Morning Wakeup call. Tea and biscuits in the main area. Morning game drive. Breakfast at the Lodge. Time at leisure. Lunch at the Lodge. Time at leisure. High tea in the main area. Afternoon game drive. Dinner at the Lodge. Overnight at Lodge.

Day 5:

Early Morning Wakeup call. Tea and biscuits in the main area. Morning game drive. Breakfast at the Lodge. Check out and meet our tour representative and fellow guests, Depart Lodge and transfer by road to Hoedspruit Airport for your flight to Cape Town. Upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you will make your own way to the arrivals’ hall, where you will be welcomed by a member from our team and be driven to the Cape Grace Hotel (or similar).  As you drive toward the city, your view from afar will be Table Mountain, one of the most spiritual places on earth, with its heart, two oceans and the beautiful city of Cape Town at its feet. Check in and enjoy some time at leisure before dinner at the hotel (3 course; no drinks included).

Cape Grace Hotel (or similar)
Explore the sights during your four-night stay at Cape Grace Hotel in Table Mountain Luxury Rooms with en-suite bathroom. Your stay includes breakfast, use of the Hot Spa area (steam room, sauna, rain & body shower), limited wireless internet access (1 Gigabyte per room per day), morning local newspaper on request, use of playstations & collection of DVDs (available on request), use of boardroom (seats 14 people) subject to availability, luxury chauffeur transfers within the City Bowl (10km radius for max 3 guests) from 07h00 to 23h00, subject to availability and Cape wine experience (Introduction to wines of the Cape) available on request.

Day 6:
Early breakfast at the Hotel. 06:30 AM Departure from the hotel to Table Mountain Cable way for your private morning half day City Tour. Head to Table Mountain First, Cable car ride to the top with your knowledgeable guide who along the way will point out various interesting facts and famous Cape Fynbos species. Once at the top, yexplore the view points and historical information points. Meet at the Cable Car and make your way down to the coach. We proceed to the Bo-Kaap, Continue to Company Gardens and end off at the Cape Castle before heading back to the hotel. The balance of the day will be at leisure to explore Cape Town.

Day 7:
Breakfast at the hotel. This morning a meet your guide in the lobby and proceed on your private full day Cape Peninsula Tour, including Chapman’s Peak Drive, Cape Point Nature Reserve with Funicular ride to the top of the Lighthouse return. Depart Cape Point Nature Reserve to Kalk Bay and enjoy lunch with the group before proceeding to Boulders Beach for a visit to the famous penguin colony. Depart back to the Hotel. Dinner at leisure.

Day 8:
Breakfast at the hotel. Full day at leisure.

Optional:  Harbour and surrounds cruise **possibility to see marine life such as dolphins and whales. Pricing to be determined.

Reconnect with the group for dinner this evening.

Cape Grace, Cape Town, South Africa (or similar)

Set on a private waterside platform at the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, the Cape Grace Hotel offers a combination of understated luxury and sophistication, drawing inspiration for its interior design from Cape Town’s rich history. The guest areas of the Cape Grace Hotel include an award-winning restaurant specialising in local cuisine with a modern twist, whisky bar, wine cellar, wellness spa, heated swimming pool, extensive library, gym and communications centre. Guests wake up every morning to superb views of the surrounding harbour or Cape Town’s breathtaking Table Mountain. Thoughtful touches in the rooms include fresh flowers, delectable deli snacks and aromatic bath products — all designed to make guests feel pampered. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning and ensuite bathrooms.

Day 9:
Breakfast at the hotel followed by check-out. Depart the Hotel for a full day in the spectacular Cape Winelands. The estates visited will vary according to your preferences and the suggestions from your local wine guide, but the tour includes the regions major wine producing areas and visits some beautiful wine estates for tastings of high-quality vintages. Nestled in a valley where the French Huguenots settled in 1688, Franschhoek is a delight for antique lovers and gastronomes (the town boasts some world-famous eateries). South Africa's second-oldest town, Stellenbosch provides another glimpse of classic 17th and 18th century Cape style, with a chance to browse quaint Dorp Street, visit the museum or explore the many galleries and shops of this university town. Wine tastings are tailored to the estates opening hours and the guests wine preferences.* The lunch stop is in either Franschhoek or Stellenbosch. Two wine tastings/pairings (one per wine farm x 2 farms) per person and a 3 Course lunch with wine is included. This afternoon, you will be transferred to the La Residence Hotel (or similar). Dinner at leisure at the hotel.

Take pleasure in your three-night stay at La Residence in Run of House rooms (split between Luxury /Superior and Vinyard Suites) due to availability with en-suite bathroom. Your stay includes breakfast, snacks, wi-fi, laundry, full mini bar, local beverages and house wines, all coffees and speciality tea and in-house shuttle service into the town of Franschhoek. 

Day 10:

Breakfast at the hotel. Full day at leisure. Lunch (not included and for own account). Farewell Dinner. 

Day 11:

Breakfast at the Hotel. At a time to be determined, you will be collected from the La Residence Hotel and Driven to Cape Town International Airport. Upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you will be assisted by our team with check in procedures for your international departure flight Homeward bound.

Dining at La Residence is a leisurely, palate-delighting experience ― guests will discover the fine flavours, diverse textures and superbly fresh ingredients of the picturesque Franschhoek Valley. Those in search of relaxation can unwind in the villa’s magnificent infinity pool or indulge in soul-soothing wellness treatments. Adventures include golf, trout fishing, quad-biking, scenic helicopter flights, paragliding, hot-air ballooning or horseback tours of the surrounding wine farms.
