Depart on an overnight flight to Rome, Italy.

Day 1
Arrive this morning in the Eternal City where you will be met by our Premier Tours & Travel Destination Italy representative for a private transfer into Rome. Arrive at your accommodation, the sophisticated 4-star Empire Palace Hotel (or similar). Enjoy a panoramic tour to admire the ancient city in all its splendor. Pass through the Aventine Hill and stop for the first lookout at the beautiful “Garden of Oranges.” Continue in the direction of Piazza Venezia, The Capitoline Hill, until reaching one of the largest and most beautiful squares in the world: St. Peter's Square. The balance of your day will be at leisure to settle into your new time zone and spectacular ambiènte: Roma!

Day 2
Enjoy a private, guided tour of the Vatican Museums & Sistine Chapel with skip the line access. Experience one of the most impressive and extensive collections in the world belonging to the Catholic Church. The Vatican Museums have 54 galleries which include the Vatican Historical Museum, the Sculpture Museums, the Raphael Rooms, and more. The collection includes art and sculpture from across the Roman world and stunning Renaissance art, including the art created in the Museum buildings themselves. Witness works of greats like Michelangelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, Caravaggio, and Raphael all under one roof! As a final stop on the tour, the Sistine Chapel is considered a turning point in the sphere of art in the course of human civilization. Designed by the brilliant Michelangelo, it was an endeavor that had never been attempted and has never been since. Following the tour, enjoy exploring Rome at your leisure.

Day 3
Take a journey through time and discover Ancient Rome. Enjoy skip-the-line access and relish the arches of the Colosseum and the ruins of the Roman Forum. Hear stories about gladiator battles and Roman emperors and discover a marvel of ancient roman architecture and engineering. The Colosseum is the largest amphitheater ever built and it is also one of the seven wonders of the world. After exploring the ancient ruins in the city, enjoy the balance of your day will be at leisure in Rome.

Day 4
Check out of your accommodation and take a private transfer to your first-class ride on the high-speed train from Rome to Naples and the Amalfi Coast. Once arrived in the coastal city, a private transfer will greet you and transfer you to the hotel in Sorrento: Continental Hotel Sorrento (or similar). Continental Hotel Sorrento is a 4-star hotel in one of the most charming historical corners of the city and a few steps from the romantic Cloister of San Francesco. Once checked in, enjoy a private, guided tour to become acclimated with your home for the following seven nights. ​​

Day 5
Embark on your first full day on the Amalfi Coast with a private, all-day tour including the sites of Amalfi, Positano, & Ravello. A driver and English-speaking guide will pick you up from your hotel and lead you through the colorful coastal towns. These villages are part of the amazing coast in the Gulf of Salerno, where you will come to appreciate the subtle variations of the native vegetation and landscaping, the terracing, the sea, and the various typical products. See the most fascinating views and some exclusive residences, explore the local streets and squares, and of course, enjoy a tasting of limoncello and gelato along the way.

Day 6
Enjoy a leisurely day discovering the inner secrets of Italian cuisine with a private cooking class in Sorrento. Learn the ingredients in and how to prepare typical Neapolitan dishes from an experienced local chef. The chef will share the recipes handed down for generations; taste the intense flavors of traditional Italian dishes made side-by-side with the chef. At the end of the lesson, enjoy the culinary experience that you helped to create!

Day 7
Depart from the hotel and board a hydrofoil to discover the beauty of Capri. Once arrived on the island, an expert local guide will meet you to show you incredible scenery, breathtaking views, and the marvelous coastline of Capri. Along the narrow streets, find a local spot where you can relax and enjoy a drink. Some of the highlights you will discover are the White Grotto, the Green Grotto, the Faraglioni Rocks (three stacks rising from the blue sea), Marina Piccola, Punta Carena, and the impressive Blue Grotto, a karstic cave where sunlight, passing through an underwater cavity and shining through the seawater, creates a blue reflection that illuminates the cavern (weather permitting; tickets not included for Blue Grotto). At the harbor of Marina Grande, you will have time to visit the famous Piazzetta di Capri. After your day of touring, board on the hydrofoil and return to Sorrento to enjoy the rest of your evening at balance.

Day 8
Spend today at leisure in the city of Sorrento.

Day 9
Discover two of the most famous treasures of Italy, Naples and Pompeii, with a private tour from Sorrento. This day tour from Sorrento is an outstanding opportunity to see Naples and its historical spots, such as the Piazza del Plebiscito, the Royal Palace, the San Carlo Theater, and the Galleria Umberto I. Have a famous Naples-style pizza while relaxing at lunchtime before continuing to the ancient site of Pompeii. Discover the ruins of the volcano, one of the most fascinating archaeological sites in the world.

Day 10
On your final full day on the Amalfi Coast, depart from Sorrento and explore the coastline with a private chartered boat. This boat tour will let you sail along the Amalfi Coast, visiting places like Nerano Bay, Crapolla, Tordigliano, Li Galli Islands, Laurito, and Arienzo. A few stops along the route showcase the incredible natural beauty of this amazing land, and time to swim and snorkel. For lunchtime, we suggest stopping in Arienzo or Nerano Bay, where you can taste traditional, local fish and seafood cuisine. At the end of the boat tour private, transfer to your hotel in Sorrento and enjoy your final evening in the city.

Day 11
Say arrivederci to Italy this morning. Check out of the hotel and take a private transfer to Naples Airport for your flight back to the United States.
